We're usually all about fast cars and high-octane thrills here in the Petrol News office, but there's occasionally that announcement that catches our eye in other areas of the automotive scene.
One such occasion has happened today, with Mercedes-Benz releasing its first pictures of a new concept model that has already been confirmed will be coming to market late next year – the new X-Class.
The Concept X-CLASS aims to place the marque at the forefront of future pick-up design, with a compact but stylish exterior that buyers are sure to fall in love with.
It combines these rugged good looks with excellent functionality, with Mercedes assuring it will be a vehicle capable of taking on even the most challenging of terrain, while also extremely comfortable and suitable for adventurers and families alike.
Set for release in 2017, the new X-Class will target markets across Europe, Latin America, South Africa and Australasia. It promises to be a fantastic addition to the pick-up sector.
Stephen Hasley, brand manager at Petrol News, adds: "The X-Class is one of those releases that simply captures the imagination of all lovers of automotive innovation, with its chunky looks and outstanding functionality potentially a game-changer for the market."
