Getting ready for this summer, French manufacturers Peugeot announce two striking, metallic colours, that truly do sound like delicious cocktails – Green Fizz and Calvi Blue – for its super, small Peugeot 108 mini, available on its Allure and Collection models.
To stop it sounding too sickly, sweet, the Peugeot 108 Allure has been further enhanced by the addition of a Raven Black roof and gloss black door mirrors, appealing to customers looking for a compact car with a sporty personality.
The French finesse doesn’t end there, these little power pockets are now available in five trim levels, from £9,225 on the road. And you can get your rocks off in the summer sun, with the five-door top Cabrio range available with a retractable electric fabric roof.
It’s not just the exterior upgrade with a Peugeot 108
But it’s not just the exterior… under the bonnet, a new, economical Euro 6.2 engine has been introduced: the 1.0L 72 and the 1.0L 72 2-tronic. These will reduce levels of harmful exhaust emissions, between 1g/km and 2g/km lower than the outgoing engines.
Technological enhancements on the dashboard, include a new capacitive colour touchscreen with Mirror Screen Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto connectivity. It’s a seven-inch touchscreen, in a gloss black surround, available as standard on the Active trim, and comes with DAB Digital Radio, a USB and a 3.5mm Jack for external audio.
It’s not all about looking good, and being environmental, there has been improvements with the Pegueot 108’s safety technology, in the form of Active City Brake and Lane Departure Warning System options, which now feature a traffic sign recognition system. This technology is available on the Allure and Collection trim level as an option, priced at £480 (incl. VAT).
