Mazda's stunning new RX-Vision has been named the 'Most Beautiful Concept Car of the Year' at the 2015/16 Festival Automobile International (FAI) in Paris.
Running throughout December and January, the event is now in its 31st year and prides itself on showcasing the most impressive and game-changing upcoming releases across the global automotive sector.
As such, picking up the accolade for most beautiful concept is no mean feat and it is one that Mazda is rightly proud of achieving for its new RX-Vision design.
The striking rotary-powered sports car concept offers stunning lines and has been exquisitely crafted to highlight the marque's Soul of Motion design philosophy.
Exemplifying Mazda's rich heritage of front engine, rear-wheel drive sports cars, the new RX-Vision is compact and perfectly proportioned to deliver outstanding performance without sacrificing style.
The award was accepted by Mazda’s international design chief Ikuo Maeda, the firm's European design director Julien Montousse and his North America counterpart Norihito Iwao at a gala awards ceremony earlier this week (January 26th).
This latest accolade builds on the RX-Vision's recent excellent performance at the Automotive Brand Contest 2015 in September, when the design team picked up three awards.
