It was a spectacular start to the recent Spanish Grand Prix, which saw Mercedes teammates Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton crash on the opening lap.
However, with the Monaco Grand Prix now looming large this coming weekend, the pair have apparently put their differences behind them and are now planning a combined assault on what promises to be one of the most popular and historic races of the F1 calendar.
A notoriously difficult course on which to overtake, the streets of Monaco make for a tight and winding track that pushes the drivers to the very edge of their talent and concentration to avoid disaster.
It will be interesting to see just how amicable the two Mercedes drivers have become should they be faced with the prospect of having to try and overtake each other this weekend, but what could be more important is the performance of those around them.
With Red Bull fresh from celebrating an unlikely win in Spain for team new boy Max Verstappen and the Ferraris of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel expected to be as feisty as ever, we're not counting on every runner making it to the end on Sunday!
