What did the spider say to the fly? Well, unless it was 'scream if you wanna go faster', we're not interested and we don't expect the team at Italian superstar sportscar manufacturers Ferrari would be either.
That said, one spider that definitely has no flies on it is the new Ferrari Spider 488, which made its global debut in London last week (February 25th).
A car for lovers of Italian automotive craftmanship, flair and beauty, the all-new Spider 488 was put through its paces in front of the expectant crowds by Scuderia Ferrari F1 test driver Marc Gene.
It is the latest chapter in the company's ongoing love affair with open-top V8 sports cars and the model's blistering performance, coupled with its stunning looks and the latest technologies, means the Spider 488 is a welcome addition to the Ferrari range.
With acceleration of zero to 62 mph in three seconds dead and a top speed of 203 mph, this is one spider that would have no trouble in catching that pesky fly.
What's more, it's also one of the most beautiful spiders that anyone here in the Petrol News office has seen for some time – we definitely wouldn't be hiding behind the sofa if this beast ran across our carpet.
Soon to be released for full production, the Spider 488 is sure to set pulses racing in the coming months.
