Classic car lovers rejoice for Concours d’Elegance

Written by: Neil

Here at Petrol News, we love cars! So it's great when we get a chance to walk down memory lane and reminisce about some of the best models to have ever graced the roads.

Now, we have the opportunity to do just that, with Salon Prive returning to the beautiful Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire later this year.

Set to be held from August 31st to September 2nd, the Chubb Insurance Concours d'Elegance promises to be a spectacle of classic cars from the history of motoring, with some special vehicles confirmed to be in attendance.

Standout models that have already grabbed our attention include the elegant and rare 1939 Horch 853A Cabriolet, as well as the simply gorgeous 1965 427 Shelby Cobra.

Both models will be on display throughout the weekend for the expectant and enthusiastic crowds, with a range of other breathtaking vehicles also set to grace the grounds of this stunning estate.

A total of ten classes of classic vehicles will be available for visitors to enjoy, from the curvaceous coupes of the 1950s and '60s, through to supercar pin-ups from down the years.

It promises to be a real treat for all lovers of classic motoring!

Stephen Hasley, brand manager at Petrol News, adds: "The Concours d'Elegance is an opportunity for members of the public to get up close and personal with some of the rarest and most desirable classic cars. It really is a chance that's not to be missed."
